plot overview
Antigone is a tragedy about a young girl who is punished wrongfully for doing something she, and most of the town, felt was right. Her brother, Polynices, was refused burial by King Creon. She felt it was her job to give him a proper burial. After Ismene said she would not help, Antigone did right by her brother by herself. King Creon sentenced her to death but after Haemon, his son and Antigone's fiance, came and said the town agrees with what she did, Creon decided just to lock her away where the only thing that could save her would be her prayers. 3 deaths were caused by King Creon's decision to punish Antigone for what she didn't do wrong.
